An updated Descendants Chart is now available for John Argus. Thanks the Hill family for updated information.

The Argus-Family web site now offers an optional way of automatically being informed when any change is made to the site. Information about a change is included in a RSS Feed and is freely available by subscription to anyone interested. The symbol shown opposite, on any web site, indicates that a feed is availble for subscription form that site.

What is a RSS Feed?

RSS Feeds enable web sites to tell you when they have new material or made changes.

Instead of constantly visiting the site to find out what's new, you simply subscribe to them using a "RSS Reader" and new announcements will come to you automatically.

Unlike email, RSS is private - the sites you subscribe to know nothing about you.

If you really want to know what RSS is short for it is Real Simple Syndication, I bet you are sorry you asked!

RSS Readers are built into many programs like:

Web Browsers
Email Software
Specific RSS Readers eg FeedDemon for windows, can be downloaded from here.

When subscribing to the Argus-Family RSS Feed, you will need to enter:

for the site feed location.

Both the Descendant Charts have been updated. You can download the latest versions of both John Argus and Thomas Argus's descendants.

Updates and corrections to the charts have been provided by many people to Frank Argus (frank.argus@argus-family.info) for inclusion on the web site.
